Diary Entry 8 - 30 June 2017

Last day of June!! Time passed so fast... Remember last week nobody came for tuition? Well this week everyone came but I was so tired I was fighting to stay awake... During recess today, we had Ice Cream! Why? Because Sunday is Youth Day and Monday is a school holiday. Yep, one of those days that took away lesson time. I have an issue with my class though. I'm an EXCO member that nobody listens to... When your national anthem plays, you're expected to stand at attention. But I've got an international classmate who can't seem to understand this concept. When I asked him why he was looking left and right and scratching his head, this was the reply he gave "I'm not Singaporean, I don't need to participate" So what if youre not a Singaporean? You live here and you study here. Is it really that difficult to show that little bit of respect to the country that you have been on for the past 9 to 10 years? Another thing, so since we had Ice Cream and not ev

Diary Entry 7 - 29 June 2017

Ahh man... Just like I said yesterday, even though we have the same 10 school weeks as any other term, but we have much lesser school days and more events. National Day, Teachers Day, Hari Raya Puasa and not forgetting Youth day this Sunday. Monday will be a school holiday. With such events, yes, EXCOs have a part to play too! Soon, we will be discussing on the Investiture which will be in less than 2 months away. I'm going to pray for the best...

Diary Entry 6 - 28 June 2017

I finally found some time to write. So yesterday was the first day of school and first day for our Probational Prefects. Most parts of it went smoothly with our seniors taking good care of them trainees. This semester is full of holidays; should I be happy? Maybe not. We are going to lose a lot of lessons before our year end exams... And to be honest, I'm afraid when the time comes, I won't be ready. So I guess it's up to me to decide whether to continue what I do to study and revise or to be lazy

Diary Entry 5 - 24 June 2017

Oh yes, tomorrow is Hari Raya... Time really flies I guess. Today seems like I got cursed. When I was returning home in the afternoon, I met with a road accident (I'm fine, that's why I can still sit here and type this entry). And after that, when I got home, I decided to go down to the car park to fly my RC trainer aircraft. I have been flying since I was 9 and 2 years ago I stopped flying due to an important exam  (PSLE). It was only these few months that I went back to flying R/C planes again. Anyways, I built myself a trainer at the start of this month and had flown it for 5 flights. On the previous flight, the motor fell off mid-flight but I was able to glide it to land. Today, there were a few people looking at me fly and am I nervous? Hmm not really. This was flight 5 and the last one. I did a hand launch, and completed 2 circuits around the open-air car park. After that, the battery shifted back suddenly which caused the plane to pitch up very hard. It stalled and fel

Daily Entry 4 - 23 June 2017

Well, today was pretty plain u til the evening when I went for my tuition. We had a new tutor, and he was very upbeat and engaging. Since it's still holiday, no one would expect today to be the first lesson unless they've read the receipt and yep... I was the only student in the class. And by the time the others came, I was already about to leave. Talk about a wasted trip man... So yes, I literally went home laughing like how I was the only one and if I wasn't there the teacher would have had to go home. Gotta wake up early tomorrow, good night world!

Diary Entry 3 - 22 June 2017 (Pulau Ubin)

Those who read yesterday's entry will know today's is going to be a trip report. So let's get started! First things first: I woke up at 8am in the morning and left home at 9.30am. It took me around an hour to get to Tanah Merah MRT to take a bus. According to Google maps: Bus 35. Now, those who know their way would probably be asking why did I take 35? I'll explain in a bit. My cute 'mei' ( 'younger sister' in Mandarin): 2 weeks ago, when I told her i'm going to Pulau Ubin, she already reacted like "NOOOO!!!" And only once she did not object to it. But today when I was on the train: Haha, I love her so much, she's so cute! En Route to the ferry terminal - Full of Setbacks: So as bus 35 takes us along the perimeter of Changi Airport, I certainly did some planespotting. And apparently the app I was using to find the route of the bus wasn't updated, I got off at the wrong stop and was left stranded alone at a bus s

Diary Entry 2 - 21 June 2017

Nothing much today really, except for the fact that I couldn't sleep last night and I woke up way so early that grandma was like "what?" In the afternoon, I went to Commonwealth to meet Hui Min for lunch and in case you don't know her, she's my cousin. (Not gonna post a photo of her, she's gonna steal my spotlight) Oh yes! I've finally completed the Duty roster! That was quite the load of today but it's over, I can click on the send button and enjoy life. Just kidding, there are still things to be done like my chemistry homework. I'm going to an offshore island tomorrow. The weather forecast shows that there will be light rain in the morning which I'll be on the boat. I hope it's nothing too much for my stomach to handle😂😂. Stay tuned for updates to my trip tomorrow, and good night!

Diary Entry 1 - 20 June 2017

Sup? First post of my (boring) life. But no matter how boring my life can get, there is always sometime things get pretty interesting. Today was quite a typical holiday day for me, locked myself up watching aviation videos and deciding on which R/C aircraft to build next... I am also working on a proposal for an anti-bullying campaign for my school as I'm part of the Executive Committee in the Prefectural Board (or Student Council as some may know it as). School is starting in a week's time, my fellow EXCOs and I have to get everything ready to ensure a smooth start of a new semester. Making new duty rosters, checking lists to make sure they are correct. The induction of new Secondary 1 Prefects and new EXCO members are underway as they begin their probation period working with seniors like myself. Other than that, there is one thing that is on the top of our worry list: homework! We have been given an Algebra book to complete in during this 1 month and others too. Not
